Discover More about the VERTIX 2

Not all GPS Watches are created equal – enter VERTIX 2. It’s true we have introduced the first ever dual frequency chipset, but there is so much more to the VERTIX 2. Let’s take a look at the engineering evolutions our team has worked so hard to build.

The Most Durable Watch Face
Our engineers spent countless hours in the lab, working to improve the durability of the titanium bezel. Their efforts have led to 3x  the scratch resistance.

Our quality control team rubbed the watch bezel against a sandstone surface over 1000 times. Even after this abuse, the watch looked good as new.

To top it off, the sapphire glass face with Diamond-Like-Coating is always virtually scratch-resistant.
Fine-Tuned Digital Dial
The Digital Dial has been a design staple of COROS watches since 2018. However, as time goes on we’ve noticed the dial may start to create a noise from the friction. While this does not impact performance, it certainly doesn’t feel as good to the touch.

To improve this, our engineers have placed two magnets inside the dial on the VERTIX 2, and utilize magnetic forces to generate elasticity.

This innovative design allows the Digital Dial on the VERTIX 2 to scroll effortlessly, without any chance of wearing out.
Redesigned Barometer
The ideal barometer design is always challenging to accomplish. You want it to be dust resistant, allow liquid to escape, and prevent residue buildup from sweat, water and other factors.

In this case, the COROS engineering team performed countless experiments, that led to 61 carved holes, each 0.25mm in diameter on a tiny 2.2mm piece of metal. The team solved this engineering challenge with precision to ensure you receive the best experience.

It’s common to see barometers on GPS watches, but but the level of detail offered by COROS is certainly one of a kind.
Haptic Feedback From Vibration
Our team designed over 30 types of vibrations for different scenarios on the VERTIX 2, creating unique sensations based on the the individual situation.

For example, when you take the HRV measurement on your VERITX 2, the watch will vibrate along with your heartbeat and when you roll the Digital Dial, the watch simulates the responsiveness of a mechanical dial.

This new feature serves as a subtle reminder of COROS’ dedication to creating purpose-built products that help you achieve your training goals.
