Farmingdale, NY December 4, 2017: beyerdynamic, inc. recently added the endorsement by the band, The Last Echo. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, The Last Echo is the unlikely combination of folk, jazz, and a commitment to acoustic music. The Last Echo involves three Colorado transplants (two from the Dakota’s and one from Alabama) who linked up and became fast friends through music. With a solid slate of shows in the near future and opening gigs for touring bands from Indie Rock to Bluegrass, beyerdynamic will get great exposure from The Last Echo’s endorsement.
The endorsement included The Last Echo acquiring a TG V90 ribbon microphone for vocals and a TG D71 drum microphone for their bass drum. These will be used in Colorado and many other shows where the band plays. In exchange, beyerdynamic will receive promotional usage from photos, social media exposure, and many other promotional aspects.
David Mau from The Last Echo is pleased to have beyerdynamic products for his usage on stage. He states, “Vocals are easily the most dynamic and important part of what The Last Echo does on stage. Every week I was putting up with inconsistent, cheap, and poor quality vocal mics that needed a ton of EQ’ing to sound right. The TG V90 was a huge improvement in our sound the very first show! The house engineer couldn’t believe how good it sounded without EQ and it provides a silky top end for my tenor vocals. I wouldn’t trust my voice to anything else on stage! One other benefit is a generous cardiod pattern that retains great clarity when I move on stage or close my eyes. The sound is so consistent and smooth that I’m considering recording our next project with the V90 in studio. I couldn’t be happier with this mic.”
