Phones are a deadly distraction on the road. The National Safety Council reports that cell phone usage     while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year. But there’s no denying they’re also critical when you’re lost in an unknown city or need to answer an important call/text. Existing GPS and phone mounts try to provide safer solutions, but the driver still has to look away from the road to use them. A split second is all it takes for an accident to occur.

Hudly Wireless is a head-up display (HUD) that lets you access critical driving info by wirelessly casting it directly into your line of sight. Cast your smartphone app of choice or navigate with the Hudly app, optimized for use on a HUD. Hudly also allows users to connect optional smart modules such as OBD2 so info like gas and mileage can be displayed

Since 2015, Hudly has been dedicated to providing an affordable, smarter driving experience to drivers around the world. They released their first head-up display in 2017 to help drivers drive safer. and technology. Out of college, his first taste of the startup life came working as the controller at Mobclix, an exciting mobile ad exchange company. A year after the acquisition of the startup, Eric branched out on his own working on a lithium car starter battery startup. The product did not eventually make the production phase but provided value learnings which led to the formation of Hudly.

 

One night driving, Eric placed his phone on his dashboard and noticed how he could see the reflection of his phone on his windshield. Eric being familiar with head up displays immediately sparked a connection and realized what market needed to be served.

 

Corbin knew that his love for innovative products and startup culture would lead him to a career of marketing in the tech startup industry. He began his career as a very early backer and spokesman for Hudly before joining the team as a member of the marketing team. Corbin’s passion for the automotive industry combined with his marketing acumen has made him a valuable Hudly team member. His favorite part of working with Hudly is working closely with the Hudly community to continue to develop products that fit their diverse lifestyles perfectly.
