NASA Awards Contract for Construction Services

NASA has awarded a contract to 13 U.S. companies for building construction services at several California facilities.

The Western Regional Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at $300 million, and has a five-year period of performance.

MACC will provide for general construction, alteration, modification, maintenance and repair, demolition, design-build, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Building Information Modeling, and new construction of buildings, facilities, and real property for the agency.

The awardees are:

The work will be performed at the following locations in California: NASA’s Armstrong Flight Research Center in Edwards; Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley; Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena; Goldstone Deep Space Communications Complex in Fort Irwin; Santa Susana Field Laboratory in Simi Valley; as well as the U.S. Air Force’s Edwards Air Force Base.
