AAA: Gas Prices Rise in Western Pennsylvania as New Year Begins

Gas prices are four cents higher in Western Pennsylvania this week at $3.402 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.

Trend Analysis:
During the first week of 2025, the national average for a gallon of gas increased four cents to $3.06. Today’s average is four cents more than one month ago, and two cents lower than one year ago. West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices are trading higher this week at around $74 per barrel today.
