Every family has their preference of diapers, wipes and pull ups. We all have gone through the trial and error and found the ones we love and the ones we also absolutely hate. My family is no different in this never ending journey it seems. Our son was transitioning between diapers to training pants and was lucky enough to try out a few different types in that span. Our boy has enjoyed Target brand products for a lot of his life and Millie Moon being exclusively at Target made this an easy one.
Millie Moon Wipes
Baby butts are so smooth and delicate but also so sensitive to harsh chemicals an rough wipes. Millie Moon offers some of the best wipes we have ever used. The Sensitive Baby Wipes are designed with the family and the world all in mind. The packaging is very clear on what ingredients are included with these.
The wipes are thick enough that you don’t have to fold even with the the messiest of poops. They have a grippy texture that cleans with less wipes and less swipes. The material is moist enough that it helps clean and eliminate the odor as well. Without the chemicals that others have, these are very gentle but effective on cleaning the tushy.
Although they are unscented, they provide a very clean feeling and smell. Although they are 100% plant based, I would not suggest eating them. That being said, it’s a huge deal to be able to brag about luxury AND being good for the environment. These wipes are 100% biodegradable and made from plants. With how many wipes we use in just the first year alone the impact on the environment is astronomical and this truly helps reduce our footprint.
Millie Moon Diapers
I would be a liar if I didn’t think about wearing these myself. Luxury is a massive understatement when discussing these diapers. These are sOoOoOoOft! If you have seen Tacoma FD with the Alpaca scene you know what I’m saying. But in all seriousness, these diapers are incredibly soft. They are thick and comfortable and look stunning. This is all crazy because they’re diapers!
Just like the wipes they are designed with the babies skin in mind. Dermatologically tested to provide care and comfort without compromising with harsh chemicals. These also provide up to 12 hours of urine storage, you had better never leave your child in a urine soaked diaper that long, which is great for overnight or extended periods of time like driving or shopping.
There is the wetness indicator which is always helpful to show whether baby peed or not. The line will turn purple when it is full and ready for a change. Don’t get too concerned about the wetness either because they also provide double leak guard to help stop leaks.
They also provide secure straps that do not accidentally come undone and they’re super mega high waisted, just like my wife’s jeans, to provide protection from the up the back explosions that plague all parents at some point in time. The protection and comfort are by far superior to any other brand we have ever used.
Millie Moon Training Pants
These share a lot of the same qualities with the diaper with some key differences. The pull ups share the softness, the leak protection that is unmatched, and being dermatologically tested to make sure your baby is in the best product available.
The training pants have a wonderfully effective waistband that is created with multiple stretchy pieces to give baby comfort and security. This is really helpful with how much they move and their different outfits and actions through the day.
The sides are also built to pull apart and reseal which is what most daycares like to see. This is really helpful when out and about and you don’t have the ability to pull the pants down over the shoes and spend time changing. It’s very beneficial to be able to do this. The sides are also super easy to rip if you’re just done with them completely. But not only are they amazingly comfortable and protective, they also feature some super cute designs.
