Welcome to the April edition of the Gameforge newsletter! The sun is (finally) out, and the worlds of Gameforge are springing to life. A whole new universe awaits in OGame, the guild system in Metin2 has been revamped, and the popular NosFire servers in NosTale are finally back. Read on to find out what else there is to discover.

Launch of a New Universe
Last Friday, Gameforge opened the gates to the new OGame universe, “Yi-SWAN.” The new game world is named after the comet that was jointly discovered in March 2009 by Korean amateur astronomer Dae-am Yi and the SWAN instrument of the SOHO satellite. This balanced universe starts with five galaxies arranged in a circle, 8x economic speed, 16x research speed, 25,000 starting DM, and 25 bonus tiles per planet. Additionally, 50% of a destroyed fleet lands directly in the debris field, where deuterium is also collected.

Changes to the Guild System
With Update 26.0, Gameforge has completely overhauled the Metin2 guild system. Guild land auctions are now a thing of the past, with available land now purchasable directly from the land manager, at a fixed price. Building levels are now permanently linked to the guild, instead of the guild land. This means that your hard-earned progress is preserved, even if a piece of land is temporarily lost. Meanwhile, guild level benefits have been extended to level 40, guild skills from Balathor’s Crypt can now be increased to level 10, and the Valor Medal trading system can now be accessed directly via the guild interface.

Embers of the Fire Dragon King
From April 22 to May 20, AION Classic revolves around the power of the Fire Dragon King. Collect “Embers of the Fire Dragon King” through instances, daily quests, or the shop, and combine them to create a Fire Dragon King Egg, which can be enhanced up to level 9. The higher the level, the better the rewards. Among other items, players can obtain the Shining Dragon Knight’s costume and blazing wings, which include special synergy effects when wearing the entire set. As a starting bonus, you can also claim a free Fire Dragon King Egg (level 1) once via the in-game survey feature.
Elsword (PC)
Build Together with the Pigeons
Until June 17, players in Elsword can enjoy a cute new event featuring everyone’s favourite feathery pals – the Pigeons! In the minigame “Pigeon Material Selection,” the goal is to deliver as many materials as possible to the Pigeons in the shortest amount of time, ensuring they are correctly positioned. The higher the score, the more valuable the materials awarded. Players who achieve at least 500 points will receive 20x “[CoBo] Lotus Jelly” daily, which can be used to unlock story chapters of the ongoing “Build Together with the Pigeons!” event. A special reward awaits those who complete all chapters and reach 100% dam reconstruction.
