In Forsworn, every run challenges players to build a team, make tough tactical choices, and push deeper into enemy territory. Heroes can learn new abilities, equip powerful items, earn Blessings, and unlock upgrades that change how they fight. When a run ends in defeat, players return stronger, rebuild their party, and try again with a new strategy.

Players can take on the fight alone or rally up to three friends online. Battles are designed to keep the action moving while still giving players room to plan, adapt, and work together against overwhelming odds.

The Steam Next Fest demo includes the full first act of Forsworn, with more than 20 possible combat encounters, 100+ items, more than 200 hero abilities, Normal and Hard difficulty options, and progression through Soul Shards.

Forsworn started as the kind of tactical RPG I always wanted to play, one built around creative party-building, tough decisions, and co-op that keeps every player engaged,” said Dat Le, Game Developer at Resummon Studios. “With the Steam Next Fest demo, we’re excited to let players experiment with different hero combinations, discover powerful builds, and see how far they can push into the realm before the full game launches later this year.”

Forsworn Key Features:

  • Fight Alone or With Friends: Lead your champions solo or team up with friends online.

  • Build Your Party: Choose heroes, unlock abilities, equip items, and shape your team across each run.

  • Make Every Run Count: Learn from defeat, collect Soul Shards, and return stronger.

  • Unleash Ultimate Abilities: Charge powerful hero abilities through combat and use them to turn the tide.

  • Choose Your Challenge: Take on Normal or Hard difficulty and test different party builds.
