Flowtica, an AI productivity hardware company building tools for real-world professional conversations, today announced the commercial availability of the upgraded retail version of Flowtica Scribe, the world’s first AI recording and handwriting pen built to help professionals stay present in meetings while AI captures, organizes and clarifies what matters next.
Following delivery of its original Kickstarter model, the upgraded retail version of this award-winning device introduces a more refined hardware and software experience, including fully automated AI-driven voice capture without the need to manually adjust a dial, charging case with Apple Find My compatibility, expanded color options, Apple MFi certification for iPhone and iPad, and 20 gel refills, four times the previous amount. Together, the updates make Scribe easier to use, easier to locate and better suited for everyday professional workflows.

From Ink to Action
While AI meeting tools have transformed transcription, many are still built around screens, video calls or standalone recording devices. Flowtica Scribe is designed for the conversations that happen away from the laptop, combining a real gel pen, AI recording hardware and an intelligent app experience in one workflow.
Scribe works on any standard paper while capturing in-room audio through a studio-grade MEMS microphone with a recording range of up to 16.4 feet / 5 meters. It includes 32GB of onboard storage, supports up to 15 voices and offers up to 30 hours of continuous recording from the pen, or up to 100 hours with the Complete Set charging case.
A physical FlowMark™ key on the pen body allows users to flag important quotes, decisions, commitments or action items in real time without touching a phone or screen. Powered by FlowTran™ wireless syncing and Apple MFi certification, iOS users enjoy effortless background transfers—even if the app is force-closed—as long as the pen remains within the 5-meter (16-foot) Bluetooth radius. No tapping, no waiting.
Android users get the same seamless experience; just keep the app running in the background within Bluetooth range. Simply press record, then stop—everything after the meeting happens on its own.
Once in the app, Flowtica automatically turns recordings into structured summaries, tasks, decisions and follow-up actions. Users can also use the “Snap It” feature to photograph handwritten notes, whiteboards, slides or other meeting materials, combining visual context with the audio record. Ask Flowtica then allows users to search meeting content by topic, speaker or task, creating a more useful record than a transcript alone.

The Standard edition is priced at $159 and includes the Scribe pen, magnetic charging cable and 20 Flowtica gel refills. The Complete Set is priced at $209 and adds the charging case, USB-C cable and three months of Premium subscription.
Flowtica also offers Free, Premium and Unlimited software plans. Device owners receive 300 free AI processing minutes per month, while non-device owners receive 100 minutes. In addition, unlimited local transcription is available exclusively to Flowtica Scribe owners.
