Owlcat Games showed several fresh gameplay videos of their major titles during last weekend’s IGN Live showcase. Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, the upcoming CRPG about the Inquisition, received a narrative gameplay video with brand new gameplay from the recently launched beta, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader showed the updated combat system with augments from the upcoming DLC 3, and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn presented a fresh look at gameplay from the beta set on Pinkwater Station.
Dark Heresy recently launched into its beta for all founders on Steam. The beta includes a slew of new content since the earlier alpha, including several new companions, a new case to uncover, and the glittering but dangerous life in Scintilla’s spires to explore. Additionally, for the first time, players can also experiment with the character creation system and build an acolyte who suits their playstyle. The new gameplay trailer also features members from the dev team, giving insight into Dark Heresy’s development.

On June 11th, Rogue Trader will finally receive its third DLC, The Infinite Museion. The Lord Captain and his retinue will have to face new challenges under the watchful eyes of Trazyn the Infinite, but they will also benefit from a brand new augment system courtesy of their new potential companion, the tech priest Eogunn Februs. The new trailer shows what combat looks like with the new bionic upgrades equipped, shown through gameplay footage of the updated combat system.

Alongside the new trailers for Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader, fans of The Expanse: Osiris Reborn were given a peek at more gameplay from the closed beta. Since its launch in April, over 20,000 players have gotten a first taste of what life on Pinkwater has to offer — and what they can look forward to at the game’s full release. Those who haven’t experienced the beta yet can still join by purchasing the Miller’s Pack or the Collector’s Edition on the website. The beta will remain open until launch.
