War Robots Swaps Steel for Soccer in Update 12.2

MY.GAMES announces that War Robots, the hit tactical PvP shooter developed by Pixonic, is shifting from the athletic spirit of recent Martian Robotic Games straight into the Earth’s concrete jungle in the new Update 12.2. The corresponding event, World Iron Cup (W.I.C.), runs from June 30 to August 11, 2026 and celebrates global soccer culture, with a robotic twist.

The update introduces a massive visual remodel of the Shenzhen map. The arena has been transformed into a colossal football pitch, complete with rugged, spray-painted turf lines, holographic ball telemetry, glowing goalposts, and thick signal smoke. Commanders will clash under the midday heat to write their names in the history of this brutal yet civilized conflict.

Update 12.2 Key Content:

• New Robot (Vulcan): A frontline juggernaut from the DSC faction powered by an experimental thermo-kinetic reactor. As Vulcan deals damage, its reactor overheats through two distinct thresholds. Crossing them permanently unlocks two extra light weapon slots, supercharges its automated laser cannon, and keeps its protective Force Field active indefinitely.
• Lumen Energy Weaponry: Available in Light, Medium, and Heavy variants, these automatic energy guns feature a soft-lock guidance system that bends around solid cover. Once attached, they inflict a stacking Heat status effect, boosting weapon damage.
• New Companion Drone (Lar): Specifically designed to complement multi-weapon builds, this tactical drone applies a Death Mark to targets if the host robot boasts more than four weapon slots, while granting total immunity to slowdown and lockdown effects as long as Force Field holds.
• Ultimate Murometz: The fan-favorite aerial Titan returns to dominate the skies with an exclusive Ultimate upgrade branch. It boasts increased base durability, tighter cooldowns on its EMP Blast, and flies more often while raining down unguided, high-acceleration Ultimate Bulava and Kisten rockets.
• Exclusive Pilot Rosters: Meet optimistic athlete Ines Diaz, who accelerates Vulcan’s reactor thresholds, and the beast-knight Marie Aldrich, who drastically improves the survivability and sky-dominance of the Ultimate Murometz.
