AION Classic Players Spend More Than 5,000 Years In-Game, New Challenges for Runes of Magic and More
Summer is just around the corner, bringing exciting times to Gameforge‘s roster of multiplayer games.
Fans of anime beat ‘em up game Elsword can look forward to major updates soon—stay tuned! But the past few weeks have also been eventful. Major new content has been released for the popular online RPGs Runes of Magic and NosTale. Additionally, a new infographic celebrates the 1st anniversary of AION Classic, highlighting its success among players.
AION Classic EU (PC)
A Year in Numbers: Interesting Statistics for the 1st Anniversary of AION Classic
Time flies! The EU version of AION Classic launched over a year ago, and a new infographic gives an impression of what has happened in the fantasy world of this popular MMORPG.
Players have spent over 49.6 million hours in AION Classic EU since its launch—that’s approximately 5,660 years! Over 1.2 million characters have been created. Among the factions, there is a slight preference for the side of light: 56.7% of players have chosen the angelic Elyos faction, while 43.3% opted for the Asmodians.
Numerous events were held to celebrate the anniversary, and fans can look forward to more exciting content and surprises in the future as the Gameforge team prepares to reveal the roadmap for the rest of 2024.

NosFire Servers and Exciting Events
May brought several exciting events for fans of anime action MMORPG NosTale.
Players could earn plenty of EXP and other rewards in Imp Raid and the improved Land of Life. Additionally, players had the opportunity to level up quickly on the special NosFire servers for several weeks to reach the endgame swiftly—perfect for newcomers. Many took advantage of this opportunity and benefited from massive character boosts.
NosTale Product Manager Nyoka commented, “The NosFire event was a huge success. We are thrilled to welcome so many new members to our ever-growing community while preparing one of the biggest content updates of the year for the game.”

Now Live: The New Timeless Adventure in Runes of Magic!
The last few weeks brought thrilling new content for fans of heroic saga MMORPG Runes of Magic.
The release of the “Shadows Over the Altar” update with the new Timeless Dungeons Instance is part of the game’s 15th anniversary celebrations. This fresh content is aimed exclusively at level 100 players who have reached the endgame. Seven powerful bosses await adventurers and will test their skills in direct combat. However, courage pays off, as those who prevail will earn powerful equipment and other rewards.

In the fantasy MMORPG AION, players can currently participate in two events:
The Rift of Oblivion
Players fight through the instance and face numerous enemies to earn great rewards. They must demonstrate tactical skill and use the forces of nature. The final boss, the Shadow of Oblivion, is particularly difficult to defeat. The event runs until June 11 at 8:59 AM CEST.
Atreia’s Lost Treasures
Players assist the famous archaeologist Indiana Jonshunerk in recovering ancient relics in Atreia. While he examines relics from a long-lost era, monsters have stolen many valuable items from the excavation sites. Players help retrieve these relics and secure many valuable rewards. This event also runs until June 11 at 8:59 AM CEST.

Looking Forward to Big News
In May, players of sidescrolling brawler MMORPG Elsword were able to prove their skills in tough but rewarding challenges, such as the three-part event “All Set for a New Adventure.” Strong equipment and other items were up for grabs as rewards.
In June, the community can look forward to a major update introducing a brand-new character to Elsword, guaranteed to shake up the world of the anime-inspired MMORPG. More details will follow soon!
