Today we are going to blow you all away with the review of the Veer Flex Fan. The small but mighty Flex Fan is not only sleek and lightweight but packs a strong gale force wind that could rival even the mightiest of hurricanes without the devastating aftermath.
Design
Veer has legitimately figured out the market on All Terrain and Outdoor products. We have a flex fan from another company that is heavy, hard to strap into places and doesn’t run for that long. The Veer Flex Fan is wrapped in the traditional color scheme of the Veer products. The legs are a flat grey with yellow accents and yellow fan blades. They provide a really nice off set to the black and yellow of the Cruiser XL or other items.
The Flex fan measures in at 11.8 inches which gives you plenty of leg length to wrap around multiple different angles or items. Veer has a plethora of images to show you options on where and when to hang it. With it being so incredibly lightweight it makes it easier for it to hang without the head of the fan weighing it down and bending it when you don’t want it to. The entire unit only weighs 0.8 pounds which is practically nothing.
The fan has an extremely simple powering process. There is one button on the back that turns it on, off and lets you select any of the 4 options available. The charging port is on the back as well and is a USB-C which works with almost all of the modern day chargers. The 2500 mAh battery boasts a whopping 12 hour battery life as well. We ran the fan for approximately 12 hours and 26 minutes on the lowest setting just to test out its actual life and were wildly surprised.
Functionality
As mentioned above the fan has 4 different speed options vs most others that have 3. This is especially helpful on the mild days where all baby or toddler needs is that in between breeze that just keeps them feeling comfortable. 4 speeds are all far enough apart as well to actually feel a difference being made. The best part is this fan even works well for adults. Strapping it to the top of the stroller and blasting yourself gives you a refreshing breeze when out pushing the kids around.
Even though it is as light as a feather, the fan speeds do not cause it to lean or fall. The extended legs are quite grippy and allow you to position it in almost any angle you could imagine. This helps again with the stroller or Veer Cruiser XL and keeps the child or you cool as a cucumber on those hot days.
