Review: Veer Day Cooler & Lunch Cooler

Trips to the beach, drives to new states, or just a long day in the park, you always need to make sure you have the proper snackage and drinks for your journey. The typical bulky plastic coolers or the cheap one use styrofoam ones just aren’t cutting it anymore. We as a society love the beautiful items that showcase our family and style. This is a two part review that will explore the space and style of two new coolers released by Veer.

Design

Veer released two new coolers that have vibrant colors to go along with their new and improved accessories. Now you can match your Switchback to your Cruiser and your Coolers so they can all look like a matching set. The color combos are incredible and truly shine bright to make you the talk of the trip.

The Day Cooler is the larger of the two and provides you full storage access for all of your large items. This can fit up to 18L of storage or 24 cans with ice. It can fit a substantial amount of goods is what were trying to say. The storage space is large enough to store enough meals and drinks to last a 14 hour drive with 2 children and 2 adults with room to spare.

The Lunch Cooler is smaller not definitely not less mighty. The Lunch Cooler has a space of 6.5L or 6 cans plus ice and a sandwich and snack. This is perfect for the short trips to a beach, a walk in the woods or if you’re a nursing Mother who is out for the day and needs to store her precious liquid gold safely without having to go to a fridge.

Both coolers are specially designed to ensure you won’t have any water leaking, any cracks to get food or mold stuck in, and a closed-cell foam insulation. The foam is tucked between the inner and outer layer which is one solid piece to prevent the issue of mold or anything getting trapped. The zippers are also leak resistant and help if it somehow gets tipped over during the trip. The best part, just like all of their other items, the cooler is easily cleaned with just a hose and is stain resistant.

Both coolers have a very strong nylon handle on top for easy carrying. The Day Cooler has a large and comfortable shoulder strap that can easily be connected or removed depending on what use you need that day. The Day cooler also has clips on the side that allow it to be connected to any of the Switchback systems with the car seat accessory.

This is wonderful with the Cruiser City XL or Cruiser XL as it can hold it elevated and secure for the bumpiest of trips. The Lunch Cooler has two clips on the backside that will allow it to connect to the Cruisers on the side or the Switchback system and hang. This is amazing if you have two Lunch Coolers and can store one on either side.

Each cooler comes in 4 different colors that all have matching accessories for the Switchback systems or Cruisers. Again this is amazing because you can color coordinate your entire party and trip. I’m a bougie one and I really enjoy everything matching and looking fly, as the kids say these days I think. Probably not something they say anymore sadly.

The coolers are both able to keep ice frozen for a substantial amount of time. The Day Cooler boasts keeping ice frozen for about 72 hours! I can confirm that we used this on a 14 hour drive one way and the following day after waking up and getting together we still had frozen ice and cold products. The Lunch Cooler did an incredible job during the day keeping everything cold and protecting the most important items.

On the opposite side, you can also use the coolers to reverse that. You can store hot items in here and keep them hot for extended periods of time. This was tested with some pizza, sandwiches and other items and can confirm after a few hours the food was still piping hot and delicious.

Overall

The Veer Cooler line is top notch and going to make so many trips much easier and fun. The ability to keep everything hot or cold for so long and without the possibility of leaks makes it a simple choice. The sheer size compared to common coolers gives you more room on the outside for other storage. The inside is large and capable to keeping a days or more worth of food and drinks. Connecting them to your other Veer items is simple and fun and gives you less mess. Veer has a HUGE variety of items available to explore the wild and take on the world’s journey. Head over HERE and check out the coolers plus everything else.
