GES shows Series MOD, a modular hybrid HV connector system for complex applications

(PresseBox) (Great Neck, 26.06.18) Complex mechanical engineering, as in the semiconductor industry, requires versatile and flexible solutions for electrical connections. With Series MODGES High Voltage, Inc. – a leader in high voltage connectivity – can provide a system that can transmit up to 12 kV DC of high voltage plus control signals, data or cooling air in a single hybrid modular connector system.

The modules are inserted into a frame that goes into a housing available in various sizes and with various locking systems and cable entries. A single connector configuration can incorporate up to seven high voltage modules for a total of 14 high-voltage connections. Alternatively, high voltage modules can be combined with signal, data, coax or air/fluid modules resulting in a hybrid solution for a complex applic ation.

The modular connector system Series MOD for extended high voltage transmission from GES High Voltage is an extremely robust, flexible and reliable solution and fully compatible with the common systems Amphenol C146M, Lapp EPIC MC, Weidmüller ConCept and Wieland revos FLEX systems.
