| Independent developer and publisher Devir happy to announce that the digital edition of the awarded boardgame The Red Cathedral (trailer, Steam, press kit) will be Available to play for free on Steam during 12 days, starting August 25 and until September 6. The game will be launched this fall on PC and mobile devices (Android and iOS) with cross-play compatibility for 1-4 players. The physical version of The Red Cathedral has sold more than 100.000 copies. In it, players have to manage their resources well to build the cathedral better than anyone else and thus win the Tsar’s favor. | Players compete to build different parts of the cathedral that they will previously claim, then search for and manage materials that will be used to build and decorate. They must take into account the influence of the clergy and the different guilds of the city to stand out from the rest and win the favor of the Tsar. Upon completion of the cathedral, the player who has gained the most prestige will be the winner. |
