UAG Announces Military Spec Cases for the Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2

Orange County, Calif. – June 25th, 2014 – Urban Armor Gear designers of advanced mobile accessories, announces Military Spec drop tested cases for the Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 tablets.

The distinctive one-piece design features a soft tactile backing with Frogskin technology that provides grip in wet or damp conditions, while a rubber core and bumpers resist impact from drops and abuse. Utilizing UAG’s feather-lite construction, the patented form-fitting design adds minimal size and weight, maintains compatibility with the Microsoft Surface Pro Type Cover keyboard, and includes an integrated kickstand.  The case is independently tested to meet military standards for drop and shock (MIL-STD 810G-516.6), a first for Microsoft Surface Pro cases.

“We take pride in providing world-class protection for Microsoft’s Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 tablets, guaranteeing our customers Military Spec protection for their premium devices” said Steve Armstrong, co-founder of Urban Armor Gear. “With all this protection in such a stylish package, you can conquer any adventure the urban jungle throws at you.”

UAG’s new case for the Microsoft Surface Pro and Surface Pro 2 is available in Scout (black) and can be purchased now for $59.95 at urbanarmorgear.com. Check out UAG’s full line of accessories at www.urbanarmorgear.com.
