It’s Time to Board ‘The Bus’ — New Simulation Game From Prolific Publisher Aerosoft

Remember tourism and public transportation? Aerosoft remembers, and the German publisher wants to take you out for a day on the town in their bus-driving simulation of Germany’s capital city, aptly titled The Bus. Developed by TML Studios, The Bus is an impressively realistic and visually stunning driving simulator that puts you in the pilot’s seat of a Berlin public transport bus, planning routes and taking your passengers to world-famous tourist attractions and landmarks, all on a true-to-life 1:1 scale!

In The Bus, would-be bus operators are not only in charge of carting their passengers safely through the incredibly realistic streets of virtual Berlin, but also planning lines and routes, timetables, tours, and navigating through meticulously designed AI traffic. And while driving is fun, sometimes nothing beats a good old-fashioned on-foot tour, and in The Bus, players can disembark and go explore the city on foot with the “Free Movement” feature!

To complement the dazzling visuals and super-accurate recreation of Berlin, The Bus also features dynamic weather systems that will truly test the driving skills of virtual bus operators. A day and night cycle adds to this level of immersion, and really showcases the historic and beautiful city in the sun and the streetlights.

The Bus is currently in Early Access and supports classic mouse+keyboard controls and most racing wheel setups — with or without pedals. The developers are planning a multi-phase EA rollout that will bring additional lines, bus models, and areas including world-famous Potsdamer Platz and Tiergarten landmarks — and co-op multiplayer!
