I’ve purchased both the Smart Light Switches as well as well as the Smart Plugs. They are great when connected to the KASA app or your Alexa or Google. You can activate you lighting or whatever else you have plugged into the plugs. I’ve used them to automate my Christmas Lights and lighting for my Christmas Village. They work great, the plugs are easy to set up, and the light switches come with wiring, and Marrette’s (wire nuts, I watch too much Mike Holmes) Your father would love these.
