XGIMI INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE XGIMI LAMP PROJECTOR

XGIMI Limited, the leading global projection equipment manufacturer, announced a new product, the XGIMI Magic Lamp, The Magic Lamp projector is a combo ceiling lamp, projector and bluetooth speaker aimed at fitting more seamlessly into home spaces. Currently the Magic Lamp is available for sale only in China.

Since its founding, XGIMI has been committed to creating innovative product designs, and innovating based on consumer pain points. The new lamp combines three main features into one form factor: a ceiling lamp, projector and bluetooth audio speaker. The XGIMI Magic Lamp dispels the constraints of traditional home projector placement and reduces the possibility of projections light hurting the eyes.

In fact, the new XGIMI Magic Lamp is the third generation of this product launched by XGIMI. As early as 2018, XGIMI pioneered this form and released the first generation of magic lamp products in Japan. It is reported that this series of products has sold nearly 200,000 units in Japan, ranking first in the Japanese home projector market for four consecutive years. This kind of new experience can not only meet the user’s home entertainment needs, but also greatly save indoor space, and at the same time will not break the original home style.

The Magic Lamp fills a room with light without the occupants themselves being very aware of the lamp. In the past, home projectors created an area that must be avoided: when you want to quickly get a glass of water, or when the children run by the light, or when the whole family wants to sit in front of the projector, this can be a pain. Not only that, the XGIMI magic lamp is the first to avoid the risk of looking directly into the light, it’s completely breaking the forbidden area created by traditional projectors at home, so that the projected light has the same characteristics of non-existent companionship as traditional lighting.

The XGIMI optical team developed and manufactured a special optical machine for the XGIMI magic lamp, taking advantage of its central location. Different from other short-throw/ultra-short-throw projectors, the XGIMI Magic Lamp has a non-destructive axis shift of 32° which is a super large angle. This means that screens can be freely adjusted up and down within a range of 1 meter, allowing users to lower the height as much as they like. The height of the picture can achieve almost above-head pictures that can be viewed while lying in your bed. Also the picture can be raised appropriately, so that even if curious children jump against the wall, they will not enter the light range of the picture. The XGIMI Magic Lamp may be the safest home projector yet as it avoids the risk of shooting light into the eyes of curious children or pets alike.

The Magic Lamp features a built in Harman Kardon sound system and numerous IoT integration options. It brings new magical life to its users. Relying on the borderless feature of the projection display, the interface perfectly integrates the display information with the wall, and presents it with a brand-new immersive visual experience.

The XGIMI Magic Lamp will be available in China only for 7,999 RMB (Apx. $1,170).  For those lucky enough to be headed to the IFA show in Berlin, the Magic Lamp can be experienced from September 2-6. To learn more about XGIMI go to their website or follow them on Facebook.
