WORX NITRO 40 VOLT 20 INCH SNOW BLOWER LAUNCHES SNOW 20 FEET

It’s time to kick gas can out of the garage and consider going cordless this winter with the WORX Nitro 40V 20 in. Snow Blower. This winter machine makes the need for gas, oil, spark plugs and costly tune-ups obsolete. Plus, unlikeNitro 40 V Snow Blower_WG471.jpg electric snow blowers, there’s no expensive outdoor-rated 50 ft. or 100 ft. extension cords to wrestle with while doing the drive.

. Snow blowers can often get used infrequently, depending on weather. As a result, gas goes bad and can damage key components, like carburetors.  A battery-powered snow blower eliminates those worries – no gas…carburetor. Charge the battery and have confidence on a maintenance-free start-up…every time.  WORX two, 20V 4.0Ah MAX lithium batteries combine to deliver 40V of power. Add a high-efficiency brushless motor that runs 50 percent longer, provides 25 percent more power and last 10 times longer than traditional brushed motors and you have an efficient machine. This single-stage snow blower’s brushless motor has a no-load speed of 2300 rpm.

There are no hard starts to contend with or fumes rising into the atmosphere. And with a cordless snow blower versus anNitro 40V Snow Blower_WG471-lights.jpg electric model, constant maneuvering around the extension cord is eliminated. Plus, there’s no fear of the extension cord crossing paths with the auger.

With the WORX Nitro 40V Snow Blower the user simply presses and holds the lock-off button and then squeezes the bail handle and it’s ready to go. To stop the machine, release the bail handle and it stops instantly.

The WORX Nitro Snow Blower is capable of launching snow a distance of 20 ft. The snow blower’s maximum depth capacity is 10 in. The snow blower’s auger is 20 in. wide and 10 in. high to churn up and lift snow from its path. The discharge chute’s rotation handle enables the user to rotate the chute 180° to the desired snow removal direction.

The 41.9 lb. snow blower features a fully-collapsible handle and a convenient built-in carrying handle for easy storage or transport. The machine’s 8 in. wheels provide traction and mobility. Dual LED lights provide visibility at dusk and during nighttime operation. The LEDs lights illuminate once the snow blower has started and the bail handle is squeezed.

The two WORX 20V, 4.0Ah Max Lithium batteries are seated back-to-back in a sealed compartment. An onboard charge-level indicator shows how much power remains before both batteries need recharging. A 4-amp dual-port 2 hour battery charger is included. Run time varies based on snow removal conditions. The WORX 20V 4.0 Ah batteries are compatible with up to 100 other WORX 20V, 40V and 80V lawn and garden, DIY tools and lifestyle products for cost-savings and convenience.

Always remove the batteries first, before dislodging clogged snow from the auger or discharge chute. Frigid temperatures can affect battery performance, so when not in use, store the batteries when temperatures dip below 32°F.

Ideal conditions for the cordless snow blower are freshly fallen, dry fluffy snow.  For wet snow and heavy snow fall conditions, remove snow in intervals to avoid motor strain. Also, when positioning the discharge chute, note the wind’s direction so the snow isn’t thrown back in the direction of the operator or path being cleared.

The snow blower includes two, 20V 4.0Ah MAX Lithium batteries and a 4-amp, dual-port 2 hr. charger. The snow blower is covered by the WORX five-year limited warranty.
