Narrated by Stephen Fry, The Little Soldier Who Dared is a prequel to the video game Tin Hearts. Albert, an inventor of Victorian times, and his daughter Rose travel to a toymaking convention to show off their wares and have an important meeting, the outcome of which could forever change their destiny. Albert’s toys however are special in ways unknown even to him! What goes on at night when the convention hall is emptied of its crowds? And if Albert gets his wish, will it be quite what he was expecting? The Little Soldier Who Dared is narrated by legend Stephen Fry, written by Kostas Zarifis and Mike Faraday, Art by Taufiq Permana, Animation by Thor Hayton and Sound & Music by Matthew Chastney.

Rogue Sun founder and Managing Director Kostas Zarifis said: “I first worked alongside Stephen Fry whilst developing the critically acclaimed Fable games at Lionhead Studios. We always had a vision for an expanded story on Tin Hearts, so when our Publisher suggested making a prequel story, with this wild vision of audiobooks and animation, we were in love straight away. Wired then went on to suggest Stephen as the voice they wanted, which we thought was awesome, but maybe too ambitious! Time has moved on since Fable and our passion project for the last several years seemed a million miles away from our Lionhead days. But Wired were pretty confident and within days we heard Stephen was up for it and willing to record over a weekend between shooting in LA. The whole project came together in mere weeks! Alongside our writing team, I was able to start crafting a new story and pour even more into the universe we’ve been building with Tin Hearts. It has been an equally surreal and exciting part of this development and we feel so lucky to have Stephen involved.”

Players can purchase Tin Hearts today on Nintendo Switch, or wishlist and prepare for its May 16th launch on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, Utomik), PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox consoles. Find out where to buy or wishlist now via the Wired Productions website

Winner of the ‘Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Game’ Accolade during Gamescom 2022, Tin Hearts is an immersive, narrative-based, puzzle adventure wrapped up in a powerful tale of love and compromise. March through and solve increasingly elaborate puzzles to unravel a deeply emotional story spanning generations and dimensions, masterfully woven into the fabric of an alternative-Victorian world.

PCVR, Meta Quest 2 and PSVR2 are set to be released later this year.
