 The end of the summer is near, the shadows grow longer, and the sky turns cloudy and gray. Perhaps you are dreaming of faraway places, alluring encounters, and magical adventures? Perhaps you even wish, every once in a while, that you were someone else? That can be arranged!

Released: August 15

A legend reborn. Dragonbane, is the new and reimagined edition of Sweden’s first and biggest tabletop roleplaying game Drakar och Demoner. A new take on the classic fantasy RPG full of magic, mystery, and adventure. Kickstarter-campaign begins August 29!

Moria™ – Through the Doors of Durin is an epic campaign expansion delving into the depths of Khazad-dûm for the multiple award-winning second edition ofThe One Ring™ roleplaying game based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, coming to Kickstarter on August 29. This expansion will also be published in a version for the 5E edition The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying, under the title Moria™ – Shadow of Khazad-dûm.

All backers who pledge within the first 24 hours will receive a bonus item soon to be revealed. If fully funded, the crowdfunding campaign offers early PDF access to the expansion well before its retail release.

PIRATE BORG
Release: September 19

PIRATE BORG is a scurvy-ridden, rules-light, art-heavy RPG based on MÖRK BORG. It’s a game about being a greedy, filthy scoundrel. No prey, no pay. Find a ship. Recruit some crew. Raid, pillage, plunder, and otherwise pilfer your weasley black guts out. Get a bigger ship. Kill some things. Upgrade your ship. Sneak into a fort. Raid a port. Acquire treasure. Bury said treasure. Become infamous. Search for someone else’s treasure. Flee in terror from unfathomable creatures from the deep. Drink all of the rum. Die on the high seas. Roll a new character and do it all again… For dead men tell no tales, so better get a live one as fast as you can.

PIRATE BORG is written and illustrated by Luke Stratton aka Limithron, who is known for his pirate-themed battle maps.

The Dunwich Horror by Lovecraft/Baranger
Release: November

Enter the desolate, decrepit Massachusetts village of Dunwich. Brace thyself, for a tale of dark rituals, witchcraft and the looming shadow of the Old Ones. The Dunwich Horror is a true classic of American horror and a dark tale of powers from beyond our world. The upcoming edition of H.P. Lovecraft’s iconic story The Dunwich Horror is illustrated by the acclaimed artist François Baranger.  The book is set to be released later this year. Free League has previously Barangers illustrated editions of the Lovecraft classics The Call of Cthulhu and At the Mountains of Madness.

 Tales From the Loop: They Grow Up So Fast
Release: September 5

“Everything changed on that fateful day. Looking back, I know that whatever we did changed our lives forever. The sky ruptured and something strange came through. It was a great adventure that showed us how little we knew about the universe. It was scary and yet magical. I wish we could do it again.”

Return to the ’80s as they never were. They Grow Up So Fast is the new campaign expansion for the multiple award-winning Tales From the Loop RPG. In these four adventures, that together form a campaign spanning the seasons of a year, the kids will be tested to the limits of their abilities. When an ordinary camping trip turns into something else, they will discover that friends come in all sizes and forms, and even from different worlds. Together they will go on an adventure they will never forget.

Symbaroum: Davokar Awakens
Release: October

But is all hope lost? The time has finally come to explore the anticipated expansion Davokar Awakens for the acclaimed dark fantasy RPG Symbaroumin which the fate of the world is decided. Symbaroum: Davokar Awakens is the final chapter of the epic Chronicle of the Throne of Thorns.

The art is created by Martin Grip (The One Ring™ RPG, Blade Runner RPG, ALIEN RPG) and Gustaf Ekelund (Coriolis, Twilight: 2000, ALIEN RPG), and the adventure is designed by game writer Mattias Johnsson Haake, co-creator of Symbaroum.

Vaesen: The Lost Mountain Saga

The Lost Mountain Saga for the multiple ENNIE-awarded Vaesen – Nordic Horror Roleplaying is an epic campaign of five mysteries, where you will explore ancient myths and old Nordic folk tales, get entangled in social intrigue, and encounter unspeakable horrors in every shadow as you travel across the Mythic North as you strive to uncover the truth.

The expansion is written by actor and podcaster Ellinor DiLorenzo and is based on the adventures from her original podcast The Lost Mountain Saga, but expanded and modified for the official release. The hardcover book is beautifully illustrated by the acclaimed artists Johan Egerkrans and Anton Vitus.
