Game Review: Poop Wars!

Are you like me and truly enjoy having family game nights? Busting out the boxed games from the closet and sitting around a table with friends or family playing the classics? Getting into a game of Monopoly, losing Boardwalk and Park Place, feeling like Morgan the Banker is cheating, thinking that David and Kayla are conspiring against you and you ultimately flip a table and storm off with your paper money? Probably just me then.

All jokes aside, family game nights are one of my favorite traditions we have in our house hold and we have recently been able to add a new one to the mix. The ultimate game where adults can S*** talk each other, or kids can join in and cause a stink when they lose. Poop Wars is the new game from Skillmatics that is a wild ride. Sit down and smell the stink because were about to flush you out with a full on ride into the review of Poop Wars.

The Game

The game is simple! You are a turd and your goal is to strategize to survive getting flushed into the sewage swirl! You want to try to be the last poop floating by the end of the game. You start the game by picking your poop personality. The options are all equally hysterical.

  • Perfect Pam- You can imagine is the prettiest poop and perfectly created.
  • Gooey Gus- A big gloopy mess of a poop that looks as though he leaves a trail where ever he goes.
  • Runny Rob- Poor Rob just doesn’t have the support, if you will, to keep himself together.
  • Stony Sid- This one definitely is what happens if you don’t have enough fiber in your diet.

After your turd has been selected it’s time for a fast paced, high laughter game of wit, brain and fun. You roll the dice and navigate your way through the twisting twirls of the toilet bowl. If you do get flushed there is no need to fear! With the action cards you could get another chance to rise back up and claim victory as the ultimate poop war winner!

This game is family friendly and very easy to get everyone involved with. Designed to be used with 2-4 players, but I will say it was quite a bit more fun with 4. Whether you’re playing with your kids or your adult friends I guarantee you will have a blast. By the end of the game your faces wont be the only thing flushed. Games last about 20 minutes and can definitely get pretty fast paced. This has easily become one of our favorite games to bust out for family game nights and it will be yours too. You can order yours HERE for only $19.99!
