Calling all aspiring space captains: roguelike space strategy game Trigon: Space Story will be discounted for the first time as part of the Steam Summer Sale! Gameforge’s first single-player title will be on sale for 20% off between June 23 and July 7, on Steam, and 30% off on the Gameforge website.
Gameforge and Sernur.tech are also pleased to announce the addition of an overhauled Easy mode for Trigon: Space Story. In Easy mode, the core gameplay remains the same, but players new to roguelikes and strategy games can fully experience the breathtaking locales and exciting encounters of Trigon: Space Story without the difficulty holding them back.
Since launching in April of 2022, Trigon: Space Story has been experienced by thousands of players around the globe. The developers at Sernur.tech are continuously updating the game to resolve many of the bugs and issues that players are reporting, and have plans to further improve the gameplay experience. The most recent patch notes bring several quality of life updates, including streamlined enemy and weapon behavior, slowed Bounty Level increase, improved load times, less aggressive AI, and updated Steam achievements.
Trigon: Space Story places players in the captain’s seat of a fully-customizable starship where they must manage everything from the weapons’ systems and engines to the day-to-day tasks of the crew. A procedurally generated universe with nine sectors to explore, each of which contains 10+ individual systems. With dangerous space anomalies, roving gangs of space pirates, and a complex web of intergalactic politics to navigate, players will need to strategize each approach with myriad factors to consider. Outfit each ship with more than 70 different weapons and play from the perspectives of four highly unique species, each with their own quirks and advantages. A procedurally generated roguelike universe provides a new adventure every run and will force players to truly learn the meaning of “Improvise, Adapt, Overcome”.
