Independent developer Celery Emblem — a studio helmed by the eccentric Jacob Jazz — and publisher Neon Doctrine today released a brand new trailer and a snacktastic demo for the bizarre Majora’s Mask meets ’90s horror sitcom Tamarindo’s Freaking Dinner.
As pizza delivery guy Macario Macabro, prepare for a reluctant new job as an exorcist when your cheesy delivery takes you to Tagomago´s Mansion. You’ll soon find yourself trapped in this musky haunted manor with just your greasy fingers and wits to keep you alive as you face a monstrous guest list of hungry, twisted ghouls. Stinky cannibal Countess Erzeweth Wátory of Walpurgis is the host of the evening, and she intends for Macario to be on the menu. Perhaps as a pizza topping? A side dish?

Tamarindo’s Freaking Dinner is a strange and stylized first-person horror game that features a time cycle system inspired by Majora’s Mask. You’ll need to explore the dark and bloody halls of Tagomago´s Mansion to learn the habits of its cannibalistic occupants to uncover the answers to secrets and puzzles, and the locations of useful objects. This knowledge will help you unlock new narrative paths and endings in subsequent playthroughs.
