Halter Technical has announced the launch of WildTrax 2026, the newest version of its professional multitrack recording engine built for film, television, broadcast, and live production sound. Designed from the ground up for the way sound mixers really work, WildTrax 2026 delivers a faster, smarter, and more flexible recording experience.

WildTrax is a purpose-built recording application for macOS that brings modern efficiency to production sound. Unlike traditional DAWs, WildTrax is optimized for the fast-paced workflows of location sound, reality television, live events, and broadcast production.
