Lower your drawbridge and grab your sword, as renowned MMO Gloria Victis from publisher gamigo is preparing for the long-awaited return of the popular online game. After originally announcing the relaunch of the medieval open-world MMORPG back in February 2026, the official relaunch of the now free-to-play game is closer than ever. After a decade online and awarded as a ‘Top Game’ on Steam in February 2023, it was delisted from the platform and rendered unavailable to play after the closure of the original studio — that is, until June 17th, 2026.

After acquiring the license to Gloria Victis, gamigo set out to bring the beloved MMORPG back to players around the world. Soon, players will once again immerse themselves in a world featuring strategic territory control, PvP combat over fortifications, a vibrant economy, and a high-stakes looting system. With the official beta closed as of May 2026, players can look forward to a more polished relaunch of the popular title waiting for them when the game comes back to life this summer.
Additionally, those who have played Gloria Victis previous to the licensing transition will have the opportunity to recover their previously-purchased premium skins. The Gloria Victis team is already hard at work implementing improvements, and players can look forward to seeing them implement a major content update post launch, entitled the State of War update.

- Innovative Partial Loot System: In certain places on the map, you’ll be able to loot defeated enemies and take your reward by selecting which specific items you will loot – but hurry, the clock is ticking!
