Thermaltake Introduces the New Dockpower Series: Patented Next-Generation Docking Power Architecture

Thermaltake, a leading PC DIY brand for premium hardware solutions, is proud to introduce an early look at the Dockpower Series, a groundbreaking power supply lineup designed around a new patented docking-based architecture that redefines how users install and upgrade their PSU.

Available in 750W, 850W, 1000W, and 1200W models, the Dockpower Series includes three variants—Dockpower FS, Dockpower FC, and Dockpower FI—all featuring 80 PLUS Gold efficiency certification and a full set of modular cables included in the package.

“Dockpower is a true next-generation docking power architecture,” said Kenny Lin, CEO of Thermaltake. “It redefines the way users build and upgrade PCs with a faster, smarter, and more flexible experience.”

Build Faster – Docking Design

Unlike traditional fully modular power supplies, Dockpower introduces a patented detachable Dock Module design that allows users to complete cable pre-wiring in advance. Users can connect the 24-pin, PCIe, and CPU power cables directly to the Dock Module before installing the PSU itself.

Once cable routing is complete, the Dock Module can simply be docked into the power supply main unit, creating a cleaner and more efficient installation process while reducing cable management complexity inside limited chassis space.

Upgrade Smarter – Instant Power Upgrade

Dockpower also simplifies future PSU upgrades. Instead of disconnecting and rerouting every cable, users can detach the Dock Module from the existing PSU and replace it with a higher wattage unit while keeping all cables connected inside the chassis.

This streamlined approach significantly reduces installation time and eliminates the hassle of rebuilding cable management from scratch.

Server-Grade Reliability

Inside the Dockpower architecture is a high temperature resistant Server-Grade 30μ Gold-Plated Contact designed for high current applications. Engineered for durability, thermal reliability, and stable long-term performance, the contact design maintains consistent connectivity even after repeated insertions and removals.

A New Direction for PC Building

While the structure itself may appear simple, Dockpower fundamentally changes the logic of PC building. By separating cable management from PSU installation, Thermaltake introduces a smarter and more adaptable approach to system assembly and upgrades.
