Finished in Ford Race Red with a Ford YZ White lower body and Toyota Blue accent stripe, the K5 commands attention before the Chevrolet LS1 V8 even comes to life. Paired with a 4L60E automatic transmission, the drivetrain delivers the kind of analog driving experience modern SUVs have abandoned, loud V8 character, mechanical feedback, and a sense of connection that feels increasingly rare. Riding on 33-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires with a 2.5-inch lift, the truck maintains the rugged capability that made the K5 iconic while elevating the fit, finish, and road presence to a completely different level.
Inside, the build balances craftsmanship with restraint. Skai Pavento Buffalo Vinyl upholstery with white single-diamond stitching gives the cabin a tailored feel without losing its classic utility roots. Digital gauges, a woodgrain steering wheel, custom-upholstered door cards, and an Android CarPlay head unit introduce modern convenience while keeping the interior honest and mechanical in nature.
