It’s time to settle one of Trove’s most pressing questions: Are grapes healthy food or junk food?
From September 8–22, the Healthy Food vs. Junk Food event returns to Trove, gamigo’s free-to-play voxel action MMO. The Medieval Highlands and Candoria are now locked in the great grape debate, and this year they’re taking it to the voters. Trovians will pick a side, win over undecided citizens, and collect Pledges to support their faction.

To make their case, players will complete faction-specific daily quests, craft special grape snacks, and use them to sway undecided voters across the Medieval Highlands and Candoria. Players earn Pledges for each voter they win over, which they can donate to their faction for a chance at additional loot.
Each day, players will be able to change the faction they wish to support, meaning allegiances are never final. Certain recipes are exclusive to each faction, encouraging players to experiment and alter who they want to side with in order to unlock everything the event has to offer. Players can also unlock collectibles from the previous run of the event and even craft Secret Grape Spice to boost the number of Pledges they earn while campaigning.
Finally, each faction has two collectibles up for grabs:
Medieval Highlands
- Vitamin Velocity, a colorful fruit-themed Mount built for a fruitful journey
- Punch Bunch, a grape-shaped Ally raised on sunshine and protein
Candoria
- Rocky Raisin Road, a dessert-themed Mount that puts grapes on the sweeter side
- Grape Pal, a frozen grape Ally that’s “ice to meet you”
Trovians who finish the event questline will also earn the Tastemaker title.
Trove is available on Windows PC through Steam and the official website, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It can also be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.
