Samsung Expands LTE Connectivity to Multiple Mobile Computing Devices in the US

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ – NOVEMBER 2, 2018 Samsung Electronics America, Inc., today announced the U.S. availability of two new always on, always connected mobile PCs: the Samsung Chromebook Plus (LTE) and the Samsung Galaxy Book2. At a time when connectivity is essential to work and life, and public Wi-Fi isn’t always dependable, the Samsung Chromebook Plus (LTE) and Samsung Galaxy Book2 are built to help users do more on the spot, on the go. The release of these two devices, in addition to the recently launched Galaxy Tab S4, empower consumers to have their pick of the LTE-connected1 2-in-1 that best fits, and enhances their lifestyle—regardless of whether they prefer Android, Chrome OS, or Windows.

“At Samsung, we believe that technology should offer choice—giving users their pick of great devices with great features, rather than adhering to a one-size-fits-all approach,” said Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Electronics America. “By building out our 2-in-1 portfolio and adding LTE connectivity, we’re ensuring consumers can stay connected on the mobile computing device that’s perfect for them to get more done and express their creativity.”
