DisplayLink Quad-Display Docking Station from Targus Wins CES 2019 Innovation Award

PALO ALTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–DisplayLink, the leading provider of USB graphics and Wireless VR technology, today joined Targus to announce the new Targus DOCK520USZ Universal Docking Station – the world’s first dock to support four extended HD displays – has been honored with a CES 2019 Innovation Award in the Computer Peripherals category.

The DOCK520USZ utilises DisplayLink’s DL-3950 chip technology to enable any computer to easily connect up to four monitors via HDMI output ports, boosting productivity for call centers, investment firms, design agencies and other industries where expanding visual workspace improves efficiency. The dock supports four HD (1920 x 1080 p60) displays or dual 2K (2560 x 1440 p50) displays while centralizing connectivity by offering ports for USB-A and USB-C peripherals, Ethernet LAN and audio.

The annual CES Innovation Awards program celebrates outstanding product design and engineering in brand-new consumer technology products. Visitors to CES 2019, running from January 8-11 in Las Vegas, NV, can visit DisplayLink at booth #30750 in South Hall 3 of the Las Vegas Convention Center to see the award-winning Targus docking station in action.
