Team17 has today launched the brand new ‘Sports Update’ for Golf With Your Friends, the friendship-testing multiplayer mini-golf game for up to 12 players. The Sports Update will let players harness horizontal power and swap balls for pucks in the enhanced Hockey mode, and shoot three-point power and alley-oops in Dunk mode. Alongside the free update comes the Sports Cosmetic Pack, giving players more ways to rock the fairway in style, available for €1.99/£1.69/$1.99!

The new wacky update will launch with a Free Weekend Event on Steam from 15-19th September, with a 67% discount on Golf With Your Friends available until 22nd September. For Xbox One players with Xbox Live Gold, Golf With Your Friends will take part in a series of Xbox Free Play Days between 15-18th September with a 75% discount available in the Microsoft Store.
