GRAMMY® Award-winning Molly Tuttle just released her critically acclaimed new solo album, So Long Little Miss Sunshine, via Nonesuch Records. The album, which NPR called “magical,” is the fifth LP from the singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist. The deeply personal body of work, which embraces self-acceptance and reinvention, debuted at #4 on the Americana Radio Album chart. Tuttle shared the video for the album track “Old Me (New Wig).” The video was directed, written, and produced by Fletcher Moore and shot by Michael Kessler; it can be seen here. So Long Little Miss Sunshine’s striking cover features eight images of Tuttle in different wigs—plus one shot in the center with her head bare, reflecting her lifelong journey with alopecia areata, which she’s lived with since age three. |

It also debuted in the Top 20 at AAA and is currently #13 there, marking her first time on the chart. On the heels of two GRAMMY-winning albums in succession, with her band Golden Highway—2022’s Crooked Tree and 2023’s City of Gold—plus a nomination for Best New Artist, Tuttle recorded So Long Little Miss Sunshine in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (Orville Peck, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Cage the Elephant). This—the fifth full album from the California-born, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist—features twelve new songs—eleven originals and one unexpected cover of Icona Pop and Charli xcx’s “I Love It.” Tuttle and her new live band—Mair Meyer on mandolin, Ellen Angelico on electric and steel guitar, Vanessa McGowan on bass, and Megan Jane on drums—will be on the road this fall, for a few festival dates followed by her “The Highway Knows Tour,” which kicks off on September 10 in Chicago, IL.
