BARCELONA, Spain and PHOENIXFeb. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Mobelisk, a pioneer in modular and IoT-enabled Smartcases today announced their launch of MaxWorkFlow modules – innovative accessories that transform a range of iOS and Android devices into sophisticated, enterprise workflow solutions.  MaxWorkFlow modules work in conjunction with the popular Otterbox uniVERSE case system to provide complete workflow transformation solutions that – when coupled with HP’s overall DaaS (Device as a Service) offerings – create a comprehensive range of solutions that include durable hardware, mobile SDKs, application-specific mobile applications, remote device management, and real-time operational analytics.

Mobelisk is the first in its industry to feature an integrated array of cloud-connected IoT sensors in the MaxWorkFlowmodules that provide enhanced positioning, shock, vibration, temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure measurement independently from the host smartphone or tablet. This allows both proactive service and support of the devices in the field and the ability to capture valuable real-time operational data. Together, the companies will demo the MaxWorkFlow modules in the HP Booth 4B40, Hall 4 at Mobile World Congress taking place February 26th-March 1st at the Mobile World Capital in Barcelona.

Mobelisk will be the first in the industry to offer this unique approach to enterprise mobility with a simple accessory that enterprise users can attach to the most popular iOS and Android devices. MaxWorkFlow modules are complete, integrated appliances that offer a ruggedized ergonomic design, extended battery life, and modular components. Two specific variants of the MaxWorkFlow modules will be on display at the show.  MaxWorkFlow – Field Service offers enhanced battery capacity chargeable via wire or a Qi inductive charging pad, LED-based enterprise appliance buttons, an optional barcode scanner module, and a range of sensors to meet the needs of fleet/field service deployments.  MaxWorkFlow – MPOS additionally includes a 3-in-1 mobile payment solution with an EMV smartcard reader, magnetic stripe reader, and contactless payment processing capability.

“By enabling functionality that extends popular iOS and Android devices into key vertical markets, mobile enterprise customers  will now be able to take advantage of optimized solutions in conjunction with HP’s comprehensive DaaS suite of services,” said Dennis Hamann, Founder and CEO of Mobelisk. “We now will begin to see powerful consumer mobile devices with enhanced capabilities via our modular hardware and IoT sensors that are optimized for specific use cases in environments such as, field services, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and many other business fields.”
