Nikoderiko: The Magical World – Director’s Cut Physical Edition & Free Demo Coming August 22nd

Standard and Deluxe physical versions are still available to pre-order at retail stores.

Knights Peak and VEA Games are thrilled to announce that the physical edition of Nikoderiko: The Magical World – Director’s Cut will officially be available on August 22 at major retailers and select specialty stores worldwide. In addition, a new free demo will launch simultaneously, for players to try before they buy..

Physical Editions

Fans can bring home the magic in two enchanting editions:

Standard Edition – Featuring the complete Director’s Cut experience, available on PlayStation®5 and Nintendo Switch

Deluxe Edition – Perfect for collectors, available on Xbox Series X|S (including Xbox One on disc), PS5 and Nintendo Switch. Includes:

  • An exclusive Art Book with never-before-seen illustrations
  • A CD Soundtrack with the captivating OST by legendary composer David Wise

The Standard Edition retails for 34.99 EUR/USD for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch, while the Deluxe Edition retails for 54.99 EUR/USD. Both editions will be available for PlayStation 5Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans still have time to pre-order the physical edition from retail stores ahead of next week’s launch.

The Director’s Cut content is available as a free update to existing owners of Nikoderiko: The Magical World; for new buyers, the base game + Director’s Cut content is included in all editions.

Available alongside the physical release, the Nikoderiko: The Magical World – Director’s Cut demo invites players to dive into a substantial slice of the adventure:

  • 3 vibrant Levels: Journey into Sacred Forest, delve into the Tricky Caves, and escape Riptor’s rage in Snowland.
     
  • Full Voice-Over: Enjoy performances in English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Mandarin Chinese.
     
  • Director’s Cut Enhancements: All visual and gameplay improvements from the full Director’s Cut are included in the demo.

Whether playing solo or in couch co-op, or taking the adventure on the go with Steam Deck, this is the perfect opportunity to meet Niko and Luna before embarking on the full magical journey.
