Suwanee, Ga. (October 30, 2018) – Rugged Ridge®, a Truck Hero Inc. company and leading manufacturer of high-quality Jeep®, truck and off-road parts and accessories, today announced the release of its new Heavy Duty Tire Carrier for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL.
This Heavy Duty Tire Carrier utilizes a massive tailgate hinge that is made from sturdy cast aluminum. By using the same mounting locations as the factory hinges, the assembly provides incredible strength with a clean, finished appearance that is as seamless as the original equipment.
Each HD Tire Carrier features a tough satin black powder-coated finish for superior resistance to the elements while nicely complementing the factory trim, as well as aftermarket bumpers and accessories. The simplistic design makes it compatible with OE and most aftermarket bumpers.
Also available, in addition to the hinge casting, is the HD Wheel Mount which adds additional strength, adjustability and clearance over the factory spare wheel mount. The mount is designed to work with all factory high-mount brake light and reverse camera equipment.
The Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty Tire Carrier for the Wrangler JL is backed by an industry-leading 5-year limited warranty and is available online and through select Jeep and off-road parts & accessories retailers nationwide.
